My wife and I started talking about the whole project, and we realized that every time we decide to do something like this, it actually costs us more money up front and never really saves us anything.

Yep! Funny how it usually works out that way... :)

Congrats on being able to keep it. IIRC, past pics show it to be a really nice setup. Any chance of new pics to see how well it's progressed?

Unfortunately I don't have any current pics. I will work at getting some though. The only part of this project that is still go is moving the tank from the master bedroom to the livingroom.

Ok, so this project as back on the go now. LOL In fact, it is being combined with my other project. As of right now, the 125 reef will be broken down and the rock will split between my 37gal (reef tank) and my 46gal (soon to be reef) and the lighting will be moved to the 46gal. The reef will become a SPS dominated reef with clam possible. I am going to be skipping on the skimmer for the 37gal due to the fact that I am going to house my soft corals such as mushrooms, palythoas, and anthilia in that tank. The bioload will not be heavy, probably just a single clown, potentially a GS Maroon. As for the 125gal, well, I'm still working on the plans for that but it will definitely be a FW tank.

Well, it's done. The split happened today. Things really turned out great.

Here's how it looks.

EDIT: Yes, the 46 is only a temp home for the Yellow Tang. My LFS was unable to take him. Have a fellow club member that had expressed interest.
